In the strangest of places if you look at it right

This page is born out of obsession, an obsession I share with thousands of others - The Grateful Dead.

To be honest I came to like the Dead quite late and by accident - I was in a second hand record shop in Notting Hill, London one day. I wanted to listen to some new music I hadn't heard before. I went upstairs to the rare vinyl section and was looking through the racks. I looked in the G section and then I came across a copy of "Skeletons from the closet" - I had heard of the Dead years before but had never heard their music, so I bought it.

I took it home and stuck it on the record player. The first track was "The Golden Road (to Unlimited Devotion)" which was all right but nothing special. the next track was "Truckin'" and I was blown away. By the time the second side finished with "Friend of the Devil" I was a Deadhead!!
I only got to see them play live once but it was probably the greatest gig I've ever been to: October 31st 1990. But over the years I have collected hundredss of live recordings through trading and I have had one or two other Dead moments which these pages aim to share with you.
